YOUR ROLE:
- Modernization of software, processes, and tools, as well as new feature development
- Continuous deployment and operation of services
- Engagement in professional development opportunities, possibly in Java
- Active participation in agile workflows
- Design and enhancement of existing features to meet customer needs
- Protection against recurring external and complex DDos attacks
- Constant optimization of our algorithms
- Involvement in software architecture design and technology selection
- Mentoring of junior team members
- Maintenance of highest quality standards, including code reviews, performance testing, system monitoring, etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent qualifications
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and eagerness to work with our existing tech stack
- Multiple years of experience in PHP backend development
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Symfony
- A plus: DevOps skills, knowledge of microservice architectures, Docker / Kubernetes
- Team-oriented, responsible, pragmatic, curious, and willing to learn
- Fluent in English and German is a plus
