YOUR ROLE:
- Oversee and maintain office technology infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and software platforms such as Microsoft Server, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Asterisk Phone System, and network security components.
- Facilitate the migration to cloud-based phone systems, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
- Administer network configurations, including vLANs, port management on Extreme network switches, and maintenance of wireless access points to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with the 1st line support team to manage identity tasks within Active Directory, Azure, DHCP, DNS, and VOIP systems, streamlining processes and enhancing user experience.
- Assist in the transition from on-premise Active Directory to cloud-based Azure Active Directory, planning and executing with minimal impact on daily operations.
- Handle escalated tickets, taking ownership of complex incidents and problems, coordinating with internal and external resources to achieve resolution.
- Provide expert support to the helpdesk, guiding onboarding processes, troubleshooting OS and application issues, and performing a variety of IT tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support within a corporate environment.
- Good communication and service skills, adept at engaging with diverse technical proficiency levels.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
- Proficient with PCs, Apple devices, and desktop hardware.
- Skilled in the Linux command line, using vi for editing, and managing services.
- Experienced in patch management and implementing policies on end-user devices.
- Capable of working with IT vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) for troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Committed to documentation for continuous procedural and troubleshooting enhancement.
