Remote work? Which country is best suited for it
The future of the working world is called “remote work”! For many people, remote working is a welcome alternative to traditional office work. According to Statista, by 2025 around 70% of all employees will work at least 5 days a month regardless of location. In Germany, the number of remote workers is currently 48%, but the trend is rising! And there are good reasons for this, because in their study on the effects of remote work on productivity at work, the company Airtasker found that remote workers work around 1.4 days more and more productively than those who work daily from the office. In addition, workers in the office were unproductive for 10 minutes longer per day than remote workers.

A study by cybersecurity software NordMeyer looked at each country’s Global Remote Work Index. The higher the score, the more suitable the country is for remote work. The study took into account cybersecurity, economic and social conditions, as well as the digital infrastructure and Covid regulations. According to the study, Germany takes first place because it is unbeatable in terms of cyber security and economic and social conditions.
