YOUR ROLE:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kafka and other relevant technologies
- Build and manage data storage solutions to support analytics and reporting needs
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for data access and integration
- Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
- Using and extending our existing code base working together with our colleagues as well as external development teams
- Communicate efficiently and collaborate with peer engineers to create state of the art products
- Eye on documentation, consistency, and modularity of our code base
- Advancing our development best practices and implement and improve testing and automation
YOUR PROFILE:
- Experience as a Data Engineer with a strong track record of building and maintaining data pipelines
- Substantial experience utilizing and maintaining cloud services, preferably AWS
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes, and REST
- Experienced in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible etc)
- Versatile, curious minded and you enjoy expanding your areas of expertise
- Communicating and working independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in English and comfortable with remote teamwork
